Message | To date the total of US MIAs from the Korean War is 7,860, of which the DOD estimates 3,067 to 3,828 are still in North Korea. On March 21, 2012 this Administration suspended talks with North Korea over reparation of MIAs in North Korea. On October 2014 the North Koreans announced that they would move 5,000 MIAs en masse. You can help by writing to your Congressman to get the talks with North Korea started again so our lost sons and daughters can come home to the USA. |

Message | My uncle Jack (John Lee) Ehrat served in Korea with the Ohio National Guard during the Korean War. I remember Jack saying that he was a cook. I think he may have been attached to the Ohio 37th Infantry Division. Unfortunately, Jack died in late 1985 and I can find no official records of his service. I have been told that many Ohio National Guard records were destroyed in a fire sometime in the 1960s. If anyone can provide me any information about my uncle Jack, or his service I would be very thankful. |

Message | As a living historian or in other words a WWII reenactor, it has always amazed me that while the public knows about WWII and Viet Nam, no one knows about the first limited war of the post WWII era. I would like to start telling the people about the sacrifices that my cousin and others went through in a war that was forgotten by the public. |
