An article from "Easy Echoes Newsletter, Summer 2002." Bob Janes went
over in the 7th Replacement Draft assigned to E-2-5 on April 5, 1951. Don
Jackson came over in the 9th and relates in the marked section what we
looked like when he joined us. One or two of Bob Janes' letters reflect this.
In one letter Janes remarked about how the 8th and 9th drafts, "really
stepped into it". At least Janes & other 7th draft Marines had a few days to
adjust before the s--t hit the fan
